Welcome

Hello Kind Reader, I’m Nanci Besser Reed, a conscious Kindness lifestyle author, blogger and speaker. My journey to “go kindly” through life began on the worst day of my life: October 2nd, 2001. That day I was the passenger in a car that drove off a cliff. Facing sudden death was terrifying in and of itself; but facing death with regrets about “how” I’d related to others and myself was even worse. In that moment, I decided that if I lived, I would choose kindness to be my guide; that I would make amends, and I would move forward as a student of how to “go kindly” through life. The irony is that from the moment I emerged from that broken car, each and every obstacle I faced only made me kinder; and no, not in a “bliss ninny” way. If it could happen to me; it can happen to you.

Here’s a question for you: Are you a seminar junkie?

In other words:

Have you gone to more self-help, new age gurus than you can count? Have you spent more money on “changing” your life than most people spend on a college degree? Could you fill a room with partially read “How To Fix Your Life” books? Do you keep running into the same brick walls in life where the only constant is you? Are you feeling stuck and unfulfilled even though you’ve “made it?” Are you living the American Dream and still “secretly” fear you are not enough?

What if I could help you put all those pieces together into one practical solution? What if you could become a more conscious and Kinder decision-maker? What if you could stop feeling powerless in your relationships, including the one with yourself? What if you could experience empowered living and reclaim your presence in the present moment through practical spirituality? What if you could discover how to undo the unkind within your mind? What if you could Go Kindly through your life regardless of what happens?

Join me on the journey; We are all in this together.

  1. Hello Nanci,
I just finished reading your article on leaving an unhappy marriage. I’m a male in my early 40’s and have been married for 19 years. Most of those years extremely unhappy and mentally/verbally abusive, especially the last 4… The story was so inspiring to me. I hope that I can muster the strength to walk away from my marriage. I just wanted to say thank you…
